Departure

Welcome to Departure! May 2008

Departure is the culmination of three years of hard work from Fine Arts Students and Photography Students at The University of Chester. The name of the exhibition was chosen to reflect this stage of our professional careers as we leave behind the security of the campus life and venture out to join the art world with our first show.

The show is being held from Saturday 17th May till Monday 26th May 2008 at the Contemporary Urban Centre (CUC) which is situated in the Independent Arts Quarter in Liverpool, The European Capital of Culture 2008.

The CUC is owned and operated by the NOVAS Scarman Group which means that all money raised from renting the studio space will be used to support the work of NOVAS tackling social disadvantage in urban areas.
